Im In Love

This car is the most adorable thing ever, its a Luigi car.....fiat 500, hubby actually wants it too.
He loves his cars and tends to change them every year, currently he has a Chrylser Cruiser, I hate driving it as it's a proper mans car...yuk, the fiat 500 is much cheaper and has a really low insurance on it, so we just have to have it don't we!! Now we are arguing over who will drive it if we do get one, we both like the cream coloured one but I want to have it as my car, I have a Honda FRV which is much more suitable for a man to drive than a Fiat 500, don't you agree!!!!

Whats Your Guilty Pleasure ???

Now don't get all excited this has to do with music and nothing else :)
I absolutley love music, I definatly have eclectic taste when it comes to it!! But all of us I'm sure have a secret singer or band that we might be embaressed to tell family and friends. Mine is Enrique Inglesius now its only the one song and it's definatly NOT Hero, hate the bloomin song, no the song I love is 'Esacape'...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VBcv7VJnGE I love it...in secret, well apart from all of you now knowing. I love how it starts of slow then the beat kicks in, I just love it!!!!!
So I thought it would be fun to tie in with my first giveaway, all you have to do is leave a comment telling me and everybody else who reads my comments...lol..what your Guilty Pleasure is and I will pick a winner, I will post pic of prize asap as having trouble uploading pic!!
I'm looking forward to reading some very obscure and embaressing comments. Don't forget to tell your fellow bloggers!!! Have fun

New house to be... pics...before

We took the boys to see the house for the first time yesterday, so i quickly took a few shots around it.....I love this front door, its going to be painted green, haven't decided which shade yet!!The youngest one taking a pic with his pretend phone......note the fab carpet!!!

Dining room.....again check out the carpet, even though it's all 70's carpet throught the house, the condition of it is amazing, luckily all the downstairs has woodblock flooring underneath the carpets. Fireplace will be going, its identical to the one in living room,

Very child friendly doors....not

View down kitchen to back door...

view up kitchen to hall, it's a very long kitchen so we can fit table in space as seen above, all the units will be ripped out and replaced.

hall, stairs and landing carpet.....need i say anymore

I really like this landing window, although its not original it matches the one in the hall

even more amazing carpet, in my oldest boys room to be

fab tiles in bathroom, think they are known as chick tiles as you can make one out on each tile.

Are you jealous??
So yes we have our work cut out, luckily we are staying put here until the main things have been done.
Having a great weekend so far, Wales won the triple crown in rugby and fingers crossed they will win the 6 nations ( not sure they will beat France but are way ahead with points diffrence ) and Cardiff have just got through to semi finals of FA cup for the first time in about 90 years!!! Can you tell I like sport?

going dotty

I absolutey love polka dots, they make me happy and remind me of spring and easter, the heart above is my favourite dotty item, it hangs from my bedroom window handle.
this is my growing collection of Emma Bridgewater, i'm thinking of adding a new style as this does look very dotty!!
i bough these from the lovely Jennifer at Buttercup and Roses and she sent the heart which i love.

I'm on a roll

Now that hubby has kindly put pics onto computer, I thought I would show you some of my fave things around the house, this heart was actually chosen by my hubby and it matches perfectly with the fire.

I love this little tea set, its Rosalyn china and i've tried everywhere to look for matching pieces but none have popped up yet.
I will be posting a few more pics over the next couple of days xx

Didn't I Do Well

These are the gorgeous things I recieved from my boys for Mothers Day, I would like to point out, that they are layed out on the bed and not a table cloth if your wondering how creased the table cloth is..lol

I had a lovely day, was spoiled wrotten, woken up with pressies and a cup of tea and croissant in bed, mum in law popped over in the morning. Visited a place called the Pump House which is full of antiques from furniture, toys and fireplaces to lovely nick nacks, the only thing I bought was a enamel popcorn bowl which is currently holding bananas. Hubby took boys to park in the afternoon so had a extremly relaxing day. The only sad thing was not having my mum around, I took some Freesias to her grave on the Saturday as they were her favourite flower.

Hope you all had a good weekend xx

Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus

Or in English...Happy St Davids Day, today in Wales it is St Davids (Dewi Sant) Day, the patron saint of Wales. He was a 6th centuary monk, who became a priest and eventually a saint. There are lots of celebrations that go on on Wales to celebrate it, mainly in Schools, yesterday the boys school had an Eisteddford which is a Welsh festival of music, poetry, cooking and making things which are related to all things Welsh. Only my youngest one wanted to do something this year, and the theme was 'Links' , so clever daddy came up with the idea of the Doctor Who Tardis and covered it in things that are popular in Wales like rugby balls, daffodils ( Welsh flower symbol) and the Welsh flag.....and it came 2nd. So daddy was well pleased. For those of you who are wondering where the Dr Who Tardis comes into it, Dr Who is filmed mainly in Cardiff and surrounding areas, they have filmed quite a bit in my part of Cardiff, so as you can imagine its a huge hit in our household....my friend who lives next door to the house we are buying picked her children up from me a few weeks ago and said they had to rush home as they were filming at the end of the road and they saw Catherine Tate. I'll let you know if they ever knock on my door requesting to use my house...lol
