Whats Your Music?

Evening Ladies, well after a fab half term week with the boys, things are getting back to normality here, we didnt end up going to the Cotsowlds after as we thought going to Bourton On The Water to buy a football from the lovely toy shop was prehaps a bit too far (Masons idea...bless him) we ended up going to Slimbridge Wetlands Centre which is situated not too far away from junction 17 (I think ) on the M5. Its a great place to go with children and there are some beautiful birds to see and some very stinky cranes and flamingoes (who always remind me of Miami Vice :) ) of course the purchase of a football was soon forgotten as do we really need another one when there are twenty in the back garden!!

I've been charging up my ipod today and adding new music and thought I would give you a list of the artists and bands on there, talk about eclectic but I suppose thats what its all about, hubby has a serious love of music so we have millions of CD's, I love the fact the boys already have a wide selction of music taste, Louie's fave at the mo is Kiss as long as he doesnt want to wear make up like theirs...lol.. Happy Belated Valentines Day

I'm late as usual hoping you all had a wonderful Valentines day. We decided this year not to buy each other anything except a card, so after watching Wales v England in rugby (sorry English friends) I cooked a nice meal and we shared a bottle of champagne, even nicer was the fact that we didnt have the boys around, my two were at their dads and Mason was at my mum-in-laws.....bliss!!
I have been awarded the below award from the wonderful Happy @ Happy Loves Rosie, thankyou so much, I love your blog, its so colourful and stylish and HAPPY!!!
Thankyou the lovely Thrifty Mrs for arranging the Valentines swap, I was paired with the very talented Sara @ All About Eden, now as you all know I'm useless at making things and dint even attempt to make anything so I hope Sara liked her goodies!

Mine arrived wrapped beautifully, the smelt wonderful too!

I recieved a gorgeous pouch which Sara had initialled my name, inside was a scrummy smelling soap. A heart cookie cutter, two sweet dottie hearts, a wonderful tote bag which I've turned the top over so you can see the material inside, the bag is reversible....perfect and some Green and Blacks chocolate which of course never made it to the picture. There was also a lovely crochet circle which was tied around one of the parcels and some lovely ribbon. Thankyou Sara, for a wonderful Valentines swap.!!

Like most of you its half term this week so I have my fingers crossed that the weather will be kind to us. Steve has tomorrow and Tuesday off, Max and Louie wont be back until tomorow night so we are plannig a day out tomorrow, not sure where, maybe the Cotswolds.
Hope you all have a great week..............Claire xx

Well I Was Begining To Feel Left Out!

This is what we woke up to yesterday, much to the dissapointment of the boys, the last few years is has snowed in the UK, Cardiff always seemed to get past by! It looks like I've got the sieve and caster sugar out!!

Today we woke up to this, no it is by no means as much as the rest of the country but it certainly made the walk to school a lot more fun!! Lots of snow ball fights (just as well I took extra uniform for them to change into) and me falling over as usual, the boys quite happily remind me the last time it snowed I fell then...thankyou!! Our school did open much to the dissapointment of the boys, I dont think there will be much left by the time I pick them up as the sun is out and I can see drips on the roofs and chairs in the garden!
I have been tagged by Bluberry Heart, to choose the 4th file in my picture section then choose the 4th picture, here it is, it s not very exciting is it? It was one of Steve's christmas pressies last year. I would like to say I bought it in New York as that would of meant I'd been again, but no, it was from the lovely shop Redwood Bay in Bath!
I have to tag 4 other people, so I will choose,
Amanda - Dream of Living
Clairey - Nothing Will Go Wrong
Sarah - Miss Sew n Sew
Alison - Vintage Amethyst

Have lots of fun in the snow...........Claire xx
