Do you remember Her?

Now do you remember this little angle I had on my christmas tree??
Well meet her sister below (have no idea why some pics on here are sideways..sorry)
Yes its meeee!! Taken many moons ago with my aunty, I think my mum was trying to get me to compete with fairy on top of the tree, thats one hell of a tutu she's wearing!! Lol!! Now am I looking happy in the pic or arrghhh get this thing off me, I cant decide!!

So now some belated pics of my christmas pressies, no words just pics!!

Ok a few words, this is Fredrick ( yes i've named him) he's a doorstop and is he so cute!!

Most frustating having to look sideways at pictures, they are straight on my photo file!!
Everything is getting back to normal here, boys went back to school yesterday amd I think they were glad as we had such a quiet christmas due to the flu bug!!
I'm looking for a job, talk about bad timing though, although I have my little business it doesnt draw a huge wage (YET!)so needs must, but havent I picked an awful time to start looking! I've now stopped watching the news and reading a daily paper as its all so depressing. I'm surrounding myself with gorgeous housey magazines and great films instead!!
Take care.....Claire xx

What a cute baby!:0)
You got some lovely presents! Fredrick has to be my favorite though!
You can tell I’m not at work today, I should be ironing but blogging is much more fun.
Good luck with the job!

Hi Claire
Thats such a cute little picture of you, you look very snug and warm.
Love all your christmas goodies. I especially love the sewing machine as I want one eventually!. Let me know how you get on with it. I know melmel has been whizzing up bits and peices on her one and they look great. I think I would get in a muddle, what with embroidery needles ending up in hubbys feet. I would probably stitch him to the sofa!
try and get a job in cath kidston!,or Laura ashley! . I think I would be spending all my earnings if I did!!. If business is quiet can you do some ebay, but I guess that must be quieter too.
I have just popped some of my childrens coats on ebay! Hopefully earn a few pennies!

Thanks for your lovely comment

It's such hard times for everyone at the moment, hopefully you can find a little job that fits in with you, your family and your little business.

Hiya Claire..
Yes, I started back at college yesterday, and its really full steam ahead!
But, thank goodness our exam has been moved forward to the 9 Feb!
Lucky you, getting a sewing machine (something I have wanted for a long time now - and to learn how to sew too!) I love the little CK goodies too.
Do you know how good that sounds - sitting reading mags and watching films! That used to be my life, I miss my free mornings so much!

Hi Claire, yes I work for myself, work is a bit quieter this time of year, I will still carry on with some off my bigger jobs.
I’m not your usual gardener, pink willies and lip gloss is me, not as the lip gloss stays on for long; I’m girly but don’t mind getting dirty, I love it.
I hope you have some luck with looking for a job; it’s not easy when you have got children!

What lovely gifts, and good luck with your hunt, I think it is going to a tough year but you need to stay focused on the important things like your family and friends. We are all in the same boat financially.. I have just given up worrying about it as life is really too short.

While I was looking at your lovely presies I kept moving my head left, right, and my hubby asked me what I was doing! Lol
All your presents are lovely, much nicer than the ones that I got!

Wishing you a wonderful New Year!

Hiya, sorry it's taken me so long to respond. Thanks for the tip about the radio, shame they don't have anymore CK ones! I used to live in cardiff as a student, in Roath and Cathays. When I was doing my masters I had a gorgeous flat in one of those enormous edwardian houses opposite Roath park, that was nice! :-)
